Anchorage to Seward. This is a spectacular drive through some of the BEST that Alaska offers. It is about 2 1/2 hours from Anchorage with no stops ... but of course you are going to stop a lot and just look!
This is a long day trip, so best not to do this on Saturday unless you have a later evening flight departure. At the bottom I will list things that COST and things that are FREE.

Lowell Point.. Take the Lowell Point Road (turn right at Sea Life Center) for a few miles till it deadends at the park entrance. Take a walk for a little way through the forest at least to you come to a stream full of salmon. As you drive there, watch for folks catching fish at the waterfall.
Seavey's Iditaride Sled Dog Tours.
Kenai Fjords Cruise.. Stunning scenery. Tidal glaciers, whale watching, puffins, sea lions, bald eagles, sea otters, porpoises, and many many birds. Shortest cruise is 6 hours. Leaves at 11.30 and returns 5.30pm.
Fishing. Check out Seward Alaska fishing charters and Tripadvisor online. Catch silver salmon, halibut and more. Most trips leave pretty early in the morning, so you would need to drive down very early.
